I'd guess the online matchmaking is tied to PSN's matchmaking and doesn't use a custom server like HD/fury did. I hope I'm not breaking any rules posting this - if I am, please tell me. Noticeable slowdown and game will crash on ending cutscene (needs confirmation with config applied). But it's very likely considering i've heard the online works fine.
